The Asian American Writer's Workshop is the country's leading organization for the support and publication of Asian American literature sponsoring lectures, readings, writing workshops, internships, publications, and the annual Asian American Literary Awards.
As a long time friend and supporter of the AAWW, Daedalus Workshop was asked to help solve a number of problems and storage issues as the organization has expanded over the past several years and now occupies a former umbrella factory in midtown Manhattan.
Daedalus Workshop designed, sourced and installed several shelving options, built new desktops and workstations for the staff, and constructed a platform stage for the various readings, panel discussions, and performances by the writers, actors and activists affiliated with and supported by the organization.
